CU-Denver PreCollegiate Program

Students! Are you interested in joining a program at CU-Denver designed to prepare you to successfully complete high school and possess the necessary skills to successfully enter and graduate from a college or university of your choice?

If you are accepted into this program, you are offered:

  • Saturday Workshops on College Access, Basic Study Skills, and Career Exploration
  • Intensive Summer Academy (2-weeks for sophomores; 5-weeks for juniors)
  • Fun field trips
  • Free college credit

To qualify you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a freshman or sophomore
  • Have a minimum of 2.5 GPA
  • Be a potential first generation college bound student (which means that neither of your parent(s) have received a baccalaureate degree in the United States)
  • Have a desire to pursue a degree after high school

If this sounds like you, please come to the Future Center to pick up a pass for an information meeting on Tuesday, October 4th!  You can attend a meeting at either 8:15am (2nd hour) or 9:00am (3rd hour).  If you can’t make this meeting, please see us in the Future Center!
